【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesequipmentandamethodforusingnitricacidvapourtodetermineporosityingoldcoatings,particularlyelectrodepositsandcladmetalsusedonelectricalcontacts.Thismethodisdesignedtoshowwhethertheporositylevelislessthanorgreaterthansomevaluethat,byexperience,isconsideredbytheusertobeacceptablefortheintendedapplication.Itissuitableforinlaysorcladdingscontaining75%ormoreofgold,forelectrodepositscontaining95%ormoreofgoldorforsubstratesofcopper,nickelandtheiralloysthatarecommonlyusedinelectricalcontacts.Thenitricacidvapourtestistooseveretobeusedforgoldcoatingslessthan0,6μmthick.Itisalsonotsuitableforcoatingsthatarelessnoblethangoldorplatinum,suchaspalladiumanditsalloys,orgold-flashedpalladiumanditsalloys.SeveralotherporositytestingmethodsaredescribedinISO10308andintheliterature(seee.g.Bibliography,[1]and[2]).
