【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverscoextrudedacrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene(ABS)plasticdrain,waste,andventpipemadetoSchedule40ironpipesizes(IPS)andproducedbythecoextrusionprocesswithconcentricinnerandoutersolidABSlayersandthecoreconsistingofclosed-cellcellularABS.PlasticwhichdoesnotmeetthematerialrequirementsspecifiedinSection5isexcludedfromsinglelayerandallcoextrudedlayers.FittingssuitableforusewithpipemeetingtherequirementsofthisspecificationaregiveninAnnexA1.FittingsmeetingtherequirementofSpecificationD2661arealsoacceptable.Acrylonitrile-butadiene-styreneplasticwhichdoesnotmeetthedefinitionsofvirginABSplasticasgiveninisexcluded,asperformanceofplasticotherthanthosedefinedasvirginwasnotdetermined.ABSreworkplasticwhichmeetstherequirementsofreworkplasticasgiveninisacceptable.ReprocessedplasticorrecycledplasticasdefinedinTerminologyD883isexcluded.Recommendationsforstorage,joining,andinstallationareprovidedinAppendixesX1,X2,andX3,respectively.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.
