【摘要】:Thistestmethodisintendedfortheevaluationofthewettinganddryingresistanceofmonolithic,solid,solidified/stabilizedwastesunderthetestingconditionsofthistestmethod.Thistestmethodmaybeusedforthecomparisonofwettinganddryingresistanceofwastes.DatatabulatedinTable1,Table2,andTable3maybeusedtoobserveirregularitiescausedbyinhomogeneityofspecimensand/orcomparisonofmassloss-cyclerelationsofdifferentwastes,aswellastomeasuremethod-relatedmasslossessuchasmatrixdissolution.1.1Thistestmethodcoversproceduresfordeterminingmateriallossesproducedbyrepeatedwettinganddryingofsolidwastespecimens.Italsocoversthevisualobservationofthedisintegrationofsolidspecimens.1.2Thistestmethodintendsthatthematerialusedintheprocedurebephysically,chemically,andbiologicallyrepresentative;henceitdoesnotaddressproblemsasaresultoftheinhomogeneityofspecimens.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
